A compassionate, evidence-based mental health clinic based in Islamabad, serving clients worldwide.

Founder & CEO
The Meeting Matters
I founded Meeting Matters Clinic in 2010 with a clear vision: to bring evidence-based, academically sound, and internationally benchmarked counselling and psychotherapy services to Pakistan.
There are many dedicated professionals doing excellent work in the field of mental health in our country. My aim, however, was to build not only a high-quality facility for clients, but also a professional platform where carefully selected psychologists could be trained, supervised, and supported according to global standards.
From the beginning, I have taken pride in selecting, training, and developing a sensitive, ethical, and clinically competent team of psychologists. At Meeting Matters, quality is not treated as a slogan; it is treated as an ongoing responsibility. This is why we strongly encourage client feedback. Since one-to-one therapy monitoring is not always possible, a structured feedback system helps us continuously improve the client experience, strengthen professional standards, and remain accountable to the people who place their trust in us.
Meeting Matters provides psychological support for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We have particular expertise in relationship counselling, couple therapy, family counselling, emotional difficulties, behavioural concerns, and life adjustment issues. Our team now includes psychologists based in different parts of the world, allowing us to offer online sessions across multiple time zones. This global access is supported through our in-house developed app, SERENICA, which helps clients connect with qualified professionals more easily and efficiently.
Another important part of our vision is serving Pakistanis living across the world. Many overseas Pakistanis feel that local psychologists may not fully understand their cultural, family, religious, or social context. At the same time, some feel that psychologists based in Pakistan may not fully understand the pressures of foreign work cultures, migration, identity, and life abroad. Meeting Matters is uniquely positioned to bridge this gap. Our team includes Pakistani, foreign, and dual-national psychologists who bring both cultural understanding and international exposure to their work.
As a psychologist registered in the UK and UAE, with an MPhil and MSc in Psychology, and as a member of the European Association for Aviation Psychology, I remain committed to developing Meeting Matters as a trusted, ethical, and internationally informed mental health platform. My special interest is in relationship and family counselling, and my continued goal is to make quality psychological care accessible, respectful, culturally sensitive, and professionally reliable.
Meeting Matters was created with one belief at its heart: when people are understood properly, supported professionally, and guided with care, meaningful change becomes possible.
